Five things that make me happy today:

seeing my first christmas commerical, my trip to nashville tomorrow, the birthday cake we are having for dinner, SATC2 on dvd, new music tuesday.

well it was a rather relaxing/non-exciting weekend.

i suppose that isn't entirely true, but now the kind of excitement we were hoping for. friday i got off work, and took a nap then went to my brother's football game. he dislocated his shoulder the first play of the second half, and just laid on the field. we had no idea what was going on, and how bad he was hurt but luckily he was ok and won't need surgery just time to heal.

saturday i ran errands with my mom. we went to Barnes and Noble, Hobby Lobby, the mall, Goodwill for halloween costumes, and a few boutiques around town. we were both bored, and trying to find things to do to occupy our time. we ordered pizza and wine for dinner, and watched {the killers} which by the way i loved!

sunday we got up for church and went to lunch with some family friends. i spent the day catching up on my dvred shows, reading magazines, doing crafts, reading this, and drinking starbucks under a blanket. it was a very relaxing day, but

there was one thing that was missing...

two days then i'm headed back to nashville for a fun-filled week/weekend!

this is me.

i believe in... jesus, desserts before dinner, love, following your dreams, coffee at all hours of the day, parties for all occasions (life is supposed to be a celebration, right?), a weekly tv and baking night, overdoing it on the holidays, myself.

i'm afraid of... scary movies, rollercoasters (or anything that might make my stomach drop), growing old alone, rats (rodents in general), guns.
i dream of... traveling the world, getting married and becoming a mother, finding a job one day that i enjoy working hard at, the unknown future.

weekend at a glance.

[thursday night]: flew into Nashville.

[friday]: Went to the movies and saw Life As We Know It. Dinner at Burger Up followed by my first trip to Pinkberry. it was just as i expected.. simply amazing!

[saturday]: brunch at Fido's.

followed by our second trip to Pinkberry in 24 hours...

and dinner at the Local Taco followed by Ever After which i slept completely through.

[sunday]: Church, lunch at Barbara's, and a trip to Gentry's Farm.

We walked through the corn maze.

Pretended that SC was getting snatched up by some animal in the maze.
and of course took lots of pictures to document the trip.

it was a very fun weekend indeed.

this past weekend i went to austin city limits.

i was originally supposed to go on friday, but it wasn't going to work out so i decided to go to houston thursday night so i could still see vampire weekend.

saturday we headed out there around 1 for a very hot and exhausting day.
this sign represents one of the many reasons i love austin, tx.. you see signs like this on random posts or sides of buildings every where you go.
