everwood.

so i just realized that Everwood Season 2 finally came out on DVD.
I watched Season 1 pretty late in the game, and waited and waited for Season 2
to come out on DVD until i pretty much forgot about it.. (until now)
i'm going to need to have a Everwood marathon when i get back to CS in a few weeks!

[fun] 4th.

here are a few very over do 4th of july pictures!
the day started out with a parade and ended with fireworks on the beach!
sparklers are my favorite.

summer reading list.

so since i will be heading back to FL on friday, i decided to make a list of what books i want to read...
1. baby proof by Emily Giffin-- i just read Something Borrowed and Something Blue and they are too cute if you have not read them.
2. Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella-- i cannot wait to dig into this one! She is my favorite author! 3. love the one you're with by Emily Giffin

4. Hope in a Jar by Beth Harbison-- i don't know much about this author, but the cover is just adorable (yes i tend to judge books by their cover) and the summary seems cute as well.

5. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers-- everyone i have talked to that read this book says how much they loved it!
6. Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger-- She wrote the Devil Wears Prada, so i have high expectations for this book!

popsicle pictures.

i've been dying to have a popsicle photo shoot.
this is just a few pictures we took for fun while in FL
when the ice cream man came down the road.
i forgot how much i love those powder puff girl pops!
but they melted ridiculously fast, and my face looked like a 5 year old..

lady list.

i am the queen of making lists. i buy little journals, and i make tons of lists when i get bored. the lists vary from what i need to do that day, week, month to what i should pack for (insert location), or what i should wear that week..

{here's what needs to get done today}:
- pack for FL.
- make more headbands.
- finish watching DH:S1 as i create.
- work on cookbook.
- edit pictures.
- pack up stuff to bring back to cstat (this will take a while which is why i need a head start..)
- start my new book.
- go through old magazines (i'm working on a fashion journal/home decor journal)
- go through itunes.
i think that list is a bit optimistic. i hope to get at least half of it done.. we shallsee : )

highlights.

so here are a few highlights from my weekend.

1. pit-stop at The Woodlands Mall

2. bought this little number at anthro:
3. dinner at Guadalajara with the boy

8. A dozen beautiful roses for $2. 50

9. Raquet & Jog shirt

10. Drive home with the boy

= great weekend.

mean green.

(Sephora by OPI in Dark Room)

i love this hunter green color for the fall. my pretty little fingers would be so happy sporting this shade..

i might die if i don't get..

this quilt (in purple or cream) to go with my Pottery Barn duvet.. (this might be a bit of an exaggeration, but still..)(picture via anthro.com)
i saw it in the store this weekend, and it has amazing details..
just what color to choose?
oh the possibilities..

if you don't hear from me before Monday i wish you all a merry weekend!

happy day.

I am sooo excited. i just checked my email, and it appears that my Diana accessories are being delivered to my house today! They weren't supposed to come in until next week! It is going to be a weekend full of pictures. The good news is that we will be in Tyler, so I will have new scenery to try it out on!

pure beauty.

"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone"...

oh Audrey, how you inspire me!
(picture from coach.com)

I'm in love with the new colors for the fall line at COACH.

I am dying to have the ginger, grass, or cobalt Sabrina bag.

I believe I'm about over summer, and anticipating fall...

florida recap.

well i finally got to uploading some pictures from our trip to Watercolor, FL. here is just a sneak peak of the many pictures we took..

... after being in Nederland for almost two weeks i am dying to go back

rain rain please stay...

so it probably seems odd that i am dying for the rain to last til i get off of work. it has rained every afternoon this week, but it seems to quit right before i get off and i look so forward to doing crafts with a movie or Desperate Housewives Season 1 on.
when i went home for lunch my little brother was watching The Parent Trap with my mom. oh to be 13 and without a job..
crossed fingers for two more hours of rain...

oh anthro.

(picture from anthopologie.com)

how i could buy everything in your store right now.
one thing i hate about living in small towns is
the fact that most stores that i like are at least an 1 1/2 away.
the suspense of seeing what is in all the stores kills me
because i always have to wait a while before i make it to Houston or Austin..
so until then i will daydream about what i will try on!

ready for five pm..

The day has gone by rather slowly it seems. I've got approximately two more hours til I get off. I feel motivated to get stuff done today thanks to my Starbucks venti iced coffee w/cream. Here is what I will attempt to accomplish..

1. CVS- i've got so many pictures i need to get off my memory stick

2. Pack- the boy and i are going to Tyler,TX right after work on friday

3. Finish book- if anyone hasn't read something borrowed or blue i would suggest it!

4. Crafts- this includes: headband making, going through magazines, collage making, sewing?

5. Run- if it is not raining (i won't be too heartbroken if this doesn't get accomplished..)

6. Transfer music to new computer- this is way overdue

cool down.

As much as I love summer, a part of me is looking forward to fall. Although here in se/central texas, we do not get much of fall weather; I do always enjoy getting ready to wear fall clothes (even if i am burning up in it..) This fall I am dying to get a leather jacket like the one pictured above. I think it will be a good piece to wear on top of some of my more summery dresses when the weather can't decide what it wants to do.

(500) days of summer.

i am dying to see this movie. it looks like what could possibly my favorite movie of the summer. the only small problem is that it is only being shown in major cities which surprisingly knocks Beaumont off the list.. i guess a road trip to Houston needs to be in the works.
You can watch the trailer here

oh, i just absolutely adore Zooey Deschanel, don't you?

1. Father of the Bride (i loveee part 2 as well.)

2. The Holiday

3. Love Actually

4. 27 Dresses

5. Made of Honor

What are your favorite rainy day movies?

red ragdoll.

so i've been making a lot of headbands recently, and i started
selling them in a few different shops.
i decided to name the line red ragdoll,
and i hope to have the etsy site up later this week...
