my niece started kindergarden a few weeks back, 

and to get her ready for school i decided to make her 

a little off to school package.

the box included various supplies,

a packet of kleenex, starbust chapstick, 

and a bag of homemade chocolate chip cookies

for good luck!

i loved putting this together, 

and think it is a great gift for any child going to school!

my home-grown herbs jar from terrain.

 and making mint water with my fresh mint.

will you be my BRIDESMAID?

i decided to creatively ask my girl friends to be in my wedding.

since i was planning a wedding relatively fast, i had to think quick 

on how i was going to do this without being point blank about it.

here is what i came up with...

a library card sent through the old typewriter with the date of the wedding stamped in the date due blank.

since we were getting married at the beach i bought aloe, a bar of soap...

a candle and matches with beach street names on the case

threw in some shells

box up the goodies

the whole presentation.

they were a big hit, and i loved how they turned out.

i'm excited to see how Zooey's show is. Premiere is tonightttt.

We saw the Cirque Du Soleil Love show in Vegas this past weekend and it was awesome. I saw it last year too, but no one else had seen it and it is definitely a must see!

I decided I would be a good wife and put together some healthy snacks for my sweet husband. I couldn't be easy and just throw it in a ziploc, however.

So here is my morning creation.. A newsprint bag found from Olive Manna with almonds and organic goodness inside tied with baker's twine and a banana on top.

Who says you can't be crafty at the wee hours of the morning?

i just love cinco de mayo.

usually i like to spend the day dressed in my mexican dress

and end the day eating tacos with some friends.

this year i don't have the time to do anything fun, and the office doesn't approve of mexican attire but next year i will just have to make up for it!

i am seriously head of heels in love with the decor shop {bhldn} launched today. there are too many great ideas, and are surprisingly relatively reasonably priced.

they have everything from tabletop and lighting to decorating and stationary.

i can't wait to order a few things for the wedding!
