feeling like fall.

(pumpkins with warts make my skin crawl)

it finally is starting to feel like fall around here.

it's breezy in the morning,

{however it does still feel like death around lunch.}

at least i can start my day off right wearing long sleeves,

and taking in the (almost) feel of fall.

i miss walking through campus during fall, and sitting up

at my window in the coffee shop listening to music

and daydreaming while watching the hustle bustle of the students

walk by.

it used to be so cozy at my little table.

we kick started the season in {nashville} last weekend by going to buy pumpkins at the farmer's market, and of course take lots of pictures.

i can smell carving, cider, yellow/orange leaves

and boots in the near future.

huzzah!

september-- looking ahead.

i realize that we are already almost half-way through the month (how is that even possible), but i decided to make a list of things to look forward to this month.

1. Fooball games:

Watching baby brother play high school ball.

Aggie football.

Texan games.

2. Fall line-up:

Parenthood returns tonight. as well as, Life Unexpected.
3. Fall food: pumpkin flavoring is in.

4. Fall clothes and boots are in season (even if it's still in the 90s...)

5. Fall drinks make a come back at Starbucks

6. Cooler weather (slightly) and the leaves are supposed to start turning. I live in SETX, I have low expectations.

-- the good news is i already jumped the gun and ordered at pumpkin spice latte last week (even though it was in the 90s..) it is still good if you close your eyes and imagine fall leaves and bomber jackets.

i loveddd the new Melrose Place last night. it makes me so happy to know that the shows are starting to return. i do, however, wish my besties were here to watch them with me. i never watch TV in the summer, but come fall it's all i seem to do.

i DVRed the new 90210, so i'll have to catch up on that tonight along with the new Glee.

so my new current obsession is candles, and i can't wait til friday to buy this one. if you ever walk into Anthropologie and wonder what smells so good this little baby is what you are smelling. my mom bought one for my step-cousin/roomie, and i can smell it down the hall.

i have so many new pictures and stuff to post i have just been lazy getting back into the swing of things. hopefully more new stuff coming tonighttt!

oh, and i just realized i have a class just on wednesdays from 5:45-8:25pm.. eww.

look into the future...

there are several things i am looking forward to in the next few weeks...

1. another week on the beach in FL.

2. moving back to College Station.

3. operation redo my room.

4. the last annual school clothes Galleria trip with my mom. 

5. trip to NYC with the boy!

6. Aggie Football-whoop. 

7. learning to sew. 

8. the return of all my shows!

i would love this little dress for Aggie Football games. 

i love this tunic from urban outfitters. i love patterns that don't necessarily go together.

 i would like to pair it with black hose and some edgy black boots.

i stumbled across this plum colored Benefit mascara at Ulta today. i think i have to have it for Aggie football season because it has a maroon tint! i am looking forward to fall for sure. i don't want to waste away summer, but i am really anticipating the coming season..!

how i could buy everything in your store right now.

one thing i hate about living in small towns is

the fact that most stores that i like are at least an 1 1/2 away.

the suspense of seeing what is in all the stores kills me

because i always have to wait a while before i make it to Houston or Austin..

so until then i will daydream about what i will try on!

As much as I love summer, a part of me is looking forward to fall. Although here in se/central texas, we do not get much of fall weather; I do always enjoy getting ready to wear fall clothes (even if i am burning up in it..) This fall I am dying to get a leather jacket like the one pictured above. I think it will be a good piece to wear on top of some of my more summery dresses when the weather can't decide what it wants to do.
