So this weekend when I went to College Station, the boy surprised me with this! I was soo excited. I briefly said on Facebook one day how much I wanted one, but I was not expecting him to actually buy me one. He is too good..

feels like winter..

yes it is the middle of summer in setx.

and yes it is blazing outside.

however, it feels like winter in my office,

so i have to keep my heater on high.

it's a shame because i can't wear my sundresses

without a sweater..

so one day a few weeks ago i decided to have a little photo shoot with my keds.

i invested in several pairs in the past year, and i absolutely adore them.

as a child, they were practically all i wore, so it's always fun to bring something back.

i love to pair them with sundresses or leggings.

i feel like their is so many things in my life that will be changing in the next year. with that being said, i am very nervous/fearful of the future. i did, however, stumble upon this saying to lift my spirits..

"replace FEAR of the UNKNOWN with CURIOSITY."

So last night at midnight, I went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with my little brothers. Unfortunately, I was unable to stay up through the whole movie, but what I did see was pretty good. My brother thought they left out too much from the book, but it has honestly been way too long since i read the book so I don't even remember most of it. I do think I will go re see it this weekend with the boy since I was out for at least 45 minutes of it..

flower power.

Flowers have been the pattern of the summer. I have seen more floral prints this year, and I absolutely adore them! Floral patterns are just so girly, and they can be dressed up with wedges and a blazer for a cooler night or dressed down with sandals/keds with a vintage across the body bag. Either way they are a must!
